http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/hillary-clinton-doubles-email-scandal-allowed/story?id=39400634This report makes clear that personal email use was the practice for other secretaries of state, Clinton told ABC News in an interview in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was allowed. And the rules have been clarified since I left.

(10,650 posts)Her problem is that bullshit statements like this one keep her ardent supporters in line, but everyone else just rolls their eyes and knows she is incapable of telling the truth.

(28,876 posts)Allowed to use personal email? Sure. But personal email on a personal server on a blackberry and not turn over emails after leaving?
Absolutely not, and she knows it.

(491 posts)I certainly expect something to come out tomorrow the way things have been going... There's that deposition that hasn't shown up yet...
So all the lies are visible. If it was allowed, show where. Show who. Show when. Show how. It wasn't so the where who when how can't be done or Sec Clinton would have said, "It was allowed un Dept ofState regulation 23, section 3, paragraph d which states...". Instead she shrugs her shoulders and repeats "It was allowed" ala Rubio and opens her eyes even wider.
Personal email use may have been used by other secretaries but not as a "practice" but on occasion and none of them, save Sec Clinton, had a private server. None. Just her.
Not only has Sec Clinton once again violated the public trust but this time she has caused Andrea Mitchell and I to agree! For that alone she has moved from distrusted to down right hated.

(283 posts)She violated the rules of her office and did so in an egregious manner ... that was not acting presidential ... it also tarnishes some of President Obama's legacy but then again she is a Clinton so why should she care
She should remove herself from the race seriously as more of this stuff begins to go public
