Pointing out why, in their own words, they are doing so is not "using" them in any way.

(27,820 posts)... of "using" these women by posting a video of them speaking their own thoughts?

There's so many ways this video could have been highlighted. As a point in fact, I even did a thread on these ladies and their endorsement of Hillary and congratulated her.
Somethings shouldn't be politicized.

(27,820 posts)... I can't imagine why an HRC supporter would think that they'd be attacked for posting something that could be construed as "pro-Hillary".
THAT never happens.

(53,947 posts)as in your post saying she was using the ladies.

(8,541 posts)The fact of the matter is that any pro Bernie or pro Hillary thread is attacked. The disclaimer wasn't needed and in fact was intended as a trigger.

(6,498 posts)That is a known fact.
"wait for the attacks."
Attacks can certainly be anticipated in such a context.
Just consider the responses to this recent OP about Zimmerman's attempts to auction off his gun to racist gunhumpers:

(53,947 posts)This video needs to posted permanently on DU.
I remember the viciousness of george zimmerman's supporters right here on DU.
That must not be forgotten.
And brava for those women.

(5,811 posts)be an African American woman. We are truly awesome. Even in our worse moments we look for ways to make the world a better place for others. We don't let our grief make us mean and hateful. Instead we use it as a tool for hope and change. Thank you Hillary Clinton.

(1,820 posts)These women have a right to vote as they please and for whom they wish. Just as you may. And we shall each vote for whom we wish.
For me personally who others vote for means little to me.
Nice video though.

(6,498 posts)I have my own problems with Hillary, but I will certainly thank her for bringing Gabby Giffords and her husband here to Ames in the days leading up to the Iowa Democratic Caucus and providing a platform for them and an opportunity for Iowans like my wife and I to hear her speak.
We were at a Bernie rally in Des Moines the very next day, and we would have been just as grateful to him had he done similarly.
Unfortunately, Bernie forgot to even mention the issue at all during his rally, and didn't bother to provide a platform for gun victims or their families to speak.

(53,947 posts)pro-Hillary posts often get attacked here on DU if not hidden.

(3,675 posts)Bernie gets attacked quite frequently as well and to say he doesn't is lying. Also, the wording of the OP is passive aggressive shit stirring otherwise he would have just posted the video.

(6,979 posts)And very heartfelt.
Those beautiful, intelligent women have so much courage, having gone through what they have in their lives. Their respect and love for Hillary is evident, just as her love and respect for them is also evident.

(1,182 posts)I think the source of that difference probably is generational, like you suggested.

(1,771 posts)I see more compassion from Hillary than any other candidate. Add her amazing intelligence and 'Ill kick your ass' attitude, what's not to like as someone for President?
