I tried to tell you that Bernie's win in New Hampshire was not indicative of how the primary would unfold, but you didn't listen.

Remember when Bernie supporters dismissed the South as the confederacy and in the process dismissed blacks in the south who supported her?

Remember when a prolific DUer accused blacks of suffering from Stockholm syndrome?

Yout think we didn't notice?

Think again.

The corporate media conglomerates love that game, they would much rather focus on the horse race allowing them to compartmentalize the people to distract from actually covering the critical and substantive issues affecting all Americans regardless of race but which might pose a threat to the less than 1%'s stranglehold on the economy and government.

Thanks for the thread, Bonobo.

And after all those who defended Stockholm Willie?

There is quite a lot of entitlement and privilege in Bernie's campaign.

Followed by accusations about "all those who defended Stockholm Willie" with a generous dose of slamming Bernie for privilege and entitlement, you may want to try being a bit more subtle during this comeback. A familiar frenetic posting pace and 2 hides already just might make one think of a certain brave FFR'd with a nak for anti-semitism

What's more, whatever I didn't already learn by just reading on the site, I've certainly caught up pretty fast.

I'm happy you think I'm someone else. Maybe you'll go bother that someone else and leave me alone.

I think that it will only succeed when progressives finally recognize that struggle must address the condition that POC face, here in the Americas and globally, too.

When those two young women stood up in Seattle at that Social Security/Medicare Rally last August, asked for a moment of silence in recognition of the murder of Michael Brown and then were roundly rebuffed for their actions by the audience, simply because they didn't immediately hand the mike back to Senator Sanders...that was most sickening to me and I think the reaction of so very many of Bernie's supporters in the days following that incident was a sorry reflection of what it means to be a person of conscience, a person who is dedicated to uphold progressive thought and action, principles.

Yeah, yeah, I know what they called all of those people (many senior citizens, because they were there to hear about SS)...they shouted that the crowd was a bunch of white supremacist liberals. So...who could have imagined how utterly prophetic such a statement would turn out to be? Suddenly that week, Bernie was turned into a victim of those mean bad girls, not by Senator Sanders, himself, but by countless hundreds of his online supporters. Those women's backgrounds were thoroughly investigated; they, themselves, were called every nasty name in the book; ulterior motives were suggested; the Black Lives Matter movement was condemned...by progressives.......think about that for a minute, let it soak in.

I thought that Bernie's response to the criticisms he was dealt that day were commendable, but, in the long run, not nearly substantial enough. At least he tried, and as a supporter of him throughout this entire silly season (and long before), I truly hope that the spark he has ignited will keep right on burning, but much brighter and encompassing much more than any politician's message this nation has ever seen.

But initially they simply interrupted an event which had attracted a massive crowd. People were annoyed. They did bring more attention to Black Lives Matter so I don't deny they had an impact. But the initial reception was one of rudeness and that would happened in any such situation. Bernie handled it well. He stepped back to let them have a say. And they had their say.

I'm sick of the spin you put on this. Everything is spin. Can't you just be honest and look at things in their true light?
