2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTo Hillary supporters I don't think she's evil or machiavellian.
I think she's wrong and her neoliberal, neoconservative policies are bad for the country. She's light years better than Trump but her policies will continue the expansion of income inequality gap.

Any other social byproducts of her actions are a direct result of self-affecting behavior.
Her non-committal of KXL, and other recent changes of opinion--mostly driven by market research over core values.

(10,164 posts)Evil? Of course not. For one thing, I don't ascribe that trait to people at all...only to actions. Moreover, Human being are complex, and I don't think I've ever met any that were cartoonish enough to actually resemble the "evil" bad guys in poorly-written fiction.
But Machiavellian? Yeah, I think that's fair, actually. She's an "anything to win" type, through and through.

I sure want her to be as MACHIAVELLIAN as possible against Drumpf in November. If it means she's more prepared and more ruthless than her opponent, we all win.

(15,805 posts)Unless you're just editorializing and making things up to coincide with your point of view, we must be looking at different policies. If I go browse through her website and read, first hand, what her policies are, I can't see anything that would correspond with what you're saying.
I'm not saying you're lying... exactly, but where are these policies you referring to?
