If he was running as a third party candidate, you'd be guaranteed a Nader moment.

She's trying to lighten it up by mocking herself (see The Daily Show clip below) but she'll have a hard time coming back from the brink, I think. She's been a little bit too harsh for people to forget. I will say my opinion of her dipped precipitously after some of her more ghastly comments. And her hypocrisy (supporting John Edwards w/the same IWR vote as HRC) is

Just a little while longer, and then we can get on to the general election.

About the only thing he's doing at this point is giving Donald Trump pointers and a few ad sound bites. It's detrimental to his legacy, at the end of the day.

on the campaign trail in 2016.

Let's hope her primary opponent sees the light and joins in to defeat the Donald.

If he doesn't, it's his legacy. He can stand to the side and grumble as history is made.

And do grab a clue: Bernie will endorse her.

No need to be rude, snide or dismissive of my ability to comprehend with that "grab a clue" snark, that's not a foregone conclusion at this stage. He's said some pretty lousy things and he has to walk those back and campaign for her. I doubt he'll do as much as both Bill and Hillary did for Obama, but he needs to start thinking when he speaks, and stop giving Trump sound bites.

There's a reason why Trump is running the "poor abused Bernie" play--he wants Bernie to take his bait, and more importantly, he wants Bernie's "bro" supporters, the ABH/Bernie Or Busters. Bernie needs to reject that shit, and decisively, too--he knows he's not going to win this. He's just hoping to limp across the finish line and rake in enough diehard donor money to pay outstanding bills.

I'd say "grab a clue" (like you just did) but that would be terribly rude. I won't snark about your 'opinions' and your esteem doesn't really matter-I'm not saying anything that isn't obvious to everyone.

I haven't seen him say he'd endorse her. I'd love to see a link to that, sincerely. I have seen him say he would "support" her, but the only endorsement talk came with a list of frigging DEMANDS, which I thought was quite remarkable, that a loser would ever try demanding anything. That's not endorsing, that's strong-arming (or a poor attempt at it). I suspect if she weren't a woman he wouldn't have pulled that out at all. In any event, he's got a ways to go before he's believed.

are not all Democrats and not all willing to compromise on a neolib/neocon. Many Sanders supporters look at Hillary the same way many Hillary supporters feel about Jim Webb.

If Hillary is nominated, many of Sanders' supporters will probably vote Hillary, a good number will write-in Sanders, and another sizable portion will vote Jill Stein.

How the party rules are reformed, DWS's role at the convention, Sanders' role at the convention, the party platform, whether the running mate is a stale centrist white dude from some swing state, and many other issues will directly impact the ratios by which Sanders supporters fall into those camps.

I just think it is in his nature. I think he is seething with resentment at having had to depend on the Democratic Party for political relevence. Nothing that he promotes has any context without the history, works and infrastructure of the Democratic party.

He acts like he invented progressive taxation.

Henry Gonzalez had a better grasp of the U.S. banking industry and did more real work to keep it in check. Establishment Dem Liz Warren worked with establishment Dem Barack Obama to create a new government agency and Cabinet-level position.

I think that this campaign has changed him, and he is about to go Super Saiyan. He didn't take the time to build a defensive sheild before going national.

He is a wounded bear.
