2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary's Political Capitol will be spent defending countless Email Investigations
Mind you - we are not even discussing the validity of the charges even though the Failure to Comply with FOIA request may have the "Most Legs"
So for anyone cheerleading for Hillary's platform which seems to be "evolving" daily with the polling. None, Nadda, Zip, of those political objectives will ever see the light of day, make it out of committee or ever gain any political traction in the constant Washington Sound Byte News Cycle as revelation after revelation being released from Senate and House "Emailgate" investigation committees and echoed by the GOP Noise Machine.
Those "Amazing Revelations" will flood social media, internet forums, and work place water coolers alike, with a never ending air of distrust, dislike, and pure loathing of Hillary and for all she stands for - including Democrats in general.
In the end we will be told "She had to cave in to the GOP", "The GOP was holding the Bill hostage", "They slipped a Poison Pill into the Bill" as once again we watch in horror as Democratic Ideals and FDR's New Deal fade away into obscurity.
A sad tribute to arrogance and elitism. Every single bit of this could and should have been prevented. Hillary could have simply "Played by the Rules". When the FBI told her "No Blackberry" she could have just agreed. Linked her Email accounts and been done with it.
So at the end of the day we will trade in our Democratic Principals for the Arrogance and Elitism of one very very privileged person
No thanks

"WE" as democrats need to acknowledge the reality of the situation or a given "Democratic Candidate's" political future

Not the place for this.

Running around the internet attempting to administer "Purity Test" based on support for any one particular candidate isn't going to accomplish too much - but if you say so, I'm sure it will make the news cycle

(3,001 posts)I'm not really sure what you are talking about.
I would rather not see blatant Hillary hatred posted here (that's actually a violation of the TOS). That's all. Seems like a reasonable request. Plenty of Hillary hate groups out there you can join. Or you can continue to troll DU. Take your pick. Bye.

(10,751 posts)...into her email server, and her withholding emails and not turning them over until much later -- that to you is "blatant Hillary hatred"?
So according to you, are we not allowed to comment on active news stories? Because the FBI investigation and also several civil suits are all over the news, ya know. Mainstream news even, and not only Fox, not by any stretch.

(3,001 posts)Because those statements are patently false. Seems you are hell bent on destroying the party. Why so angry? What is it that you really want to say?

(13,390 posts)He had not cultivated misguided loyalty based on victimization, and reasonable Democrats would have deserted him as a candidate as soon as the whispers became publicly confirmed.
People seem to lose all sense and are willing to defend anything the Clinton's do because every single time anyone points out a flaw, WITCH HUNT and now they have added SEXISM. I am ashamed that I defended Bill in 98.
