2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy is Hillary not in Indiana?
I recall all the posts about Bernie leaving PA on the day of their primary and what a "foreboding" sign of doom that was. Now Hillary bugs out a full day early from Indiana...what is the "practical" implication in this instance?

But go with that comparison, if it helps.

She would have to explain this abortion of the American Middle-class that she supported if she was there today
That's why.

(5,737 posts)Probably not because you are a Sander's fan. A huge portion of the electorate in IN are minorities, primarily black. The mayors of all of those cities have endorsed HRC. Indianapolis and the southern part of the state have a highly unionized building trades presence. The building trades unions are all backing HRC. Lots of the outlying areas of IN are where the older voters live. People over 50 remember very vividly having bomb drills in school from the United Soviet SOCIALIST Republic.

(1,901 posts)Bernie snuck out of NY, after forbidding the press from covering his escape from a state where, despite his dishonest statements, he knew he was losing. He slunk away from PA too.
It's the way he was running away, he slunk off in defeat, she's publicly scheduled appearances. What doom is there here?

Every time another delegate comes off the table for Hillary and out of reach of Sanders, it's just another nail in his already sealed coffin.
Besides, she went to Indiana yesterday for a last minute event, cause they saw some positive movement, and wanted to exploit it.
