Meet vs Greet. REALLY. How ugly and low can you go?

Bernie Sanders had a meeting with Pope Francic. So what! Get over it. He met the Pope, which the way is a big deal, and they exchanged niceties.

I went to Rome and saw Pope John Paul. I went to mass in the Basillica and he was present. I'm not a devout Catholic. I don't even go to church. My husband is Catholic and he does go to church. I am a former Catholic.

It was an experience that I never will forget. It was magical. There is just something there that is indescribable. There are no words to say how deeply moving and how inspiring it is.

The pettiness about Bernie Sanders saying meeting vs. Pope Francis saying greeting is just plain ugly. You people should just be ashamed of yourselves.

Nit pick. Sour grapes. Obsessed about Bernie. Don't you have anything good to say about Hillary Clinton? You are just so focused on Bernie?

I think that's behind most of the divide. For one side, details really do matter. The other side fills in blanks with their imaginations.

Them, might be a stop say hi and chat to someone else.

You people love Hillary Clinton. Yet you seem to have no problem with her never saying anything directly and playing the English language like a violin. You have double standards

Remember what the meaning of "is, is?"

and those all lead us to the real truth of what the Pope said that basically some of you are calling him a liar over?

You are insisting the Pope never said a word to Sanders when he met him. Why would you do that when the Pope never even said that.

He did not said "I met him and shook his hand". He said "I greeted him and shook his hand".

Greet:
give a polite word or sign of welcome or recognition to (someone) on meeting.
synonyms: say hello to, address, salute, hail;

As a compassionate, intelligent and respectful diplomat, a greeting would sound very much like what Sach's has said he said to Bernie. BTW, Sachs would have been the interpreter, so he would know.

According to Sachs,
Pope Francis “thanked the senator formally for coming to the Vatican and for participating in the meeting at the Academy,” Sachs recounted, adding that the Pope explained that an earlier start than expected this morning meant he couldn’t greet the conference participants last night as has had been originally planned. “He thanked the senator for understanding and appreciated that he had come and participated,” Sachs said. “The senator wished him well on today's journey and the Pope wished Senator Sanders and his wife very well and then the meeting concluded and the Pope left for Greece.”

Which, is nothing special, but it is a nice greeting to a statesman from the US who flew across the ocean to attend an important conference to the Pope.

What is it about these words of greeting that you are having such a hard time with? Why would you call the Pope a liar and Sachs a liar, just so you can continue to call Bernie a liar?

Don't worry, they are not an endorsement of Sanders.

Character traits that most of us value.... like honesty, trustworthiness, truth, consistency, commitment to Democratic Party Values, and integrity are not important to the Clintons, and never have been. That is why her negatives are so historically high, and more than 1/2 of Americans don't trust her. We've seen this scam before.

So it is no mystery why some people are attracted to her.
It is a values thing.

Bernie Sanders and the Pope thing. I would like to see something else from them. It is getting sick....as in mentally ill sick. Normal sane people would be moving on to "issues". You know the things that really are suppose to matter in this race to be President of the United States?

BIRDIE SANDERS!

There. That ought to take care of it. More apoplexy for them. The more the better, I would say.

The extent that they play these silly, childish schoolyard games demonstrates the extent that they are not good people and have no interest in good.

Then he invited himself. Then he wasn't really going to go. Then he wasn't going to meet the pope. Now it's either not a big deal, or he set it up as a photo op, or he is being a misogynist by meeting the pope.

The Hillarians are unhinged.
