In light of the fact that her opponent just met one of the most important people in the world highly admired by Catholics.

She might want to start thinking about the General and how people will perceive her actions now.

She's not exactly creating a warm fuzzy with anyone who's not already a strong supporter. Independents don't like her and her unfavorables are over 50%.

are pretty savvy. They won't fall for the Pope pandering, especially the many more millions of dems who aren't Catholic.

Remember, Hillary was a twice elected US Senator in New York and bought home millions after the 9/11 attacks.

She'll win easily.

But, an awful lot of ground to make up....
I'd just love to not see it not called early in the night...and be close to the end.

As for Catholic voting, how weird would it be for Bernie to win the Cathoic vote but lose the Jewish vote.
It really doesn't seem like it is identity politics with This election, it is more philosophy.
Small change vs Big (huge) change.

I support SBS and think HRC wins NY.

Pandering is generally an effective campaign tactic, and meeting with a religious leader is usually pandering to members of that religion. Sanders, of course, doesn't care whether or not it gains him any votes. This is impossible for mainstream members of our party to accept because they have not seen a candidate pass up a pander op for many, many years.

So let's say Hillary by 16%. ("I met the Pope! Vote for me!" Ha ha! Almost as funny as, "I can't beat Hillary, but I can beat Trump! Vote for me!&quot
