In Wisconsin, Hillary says Sanders is a Democrat-Come-Lately

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/02/politics/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-democrat-wisconsin/

Hillary Clinton wants voters in Wisconsin to know that she has been a Democrat for much of her adult life. Why? Bernie Sanders hasn't been.

Clinton said her near-lifelong membership to the Democratic Party was "important" in the nomination contest while campaigning here on Saturday, two days ahead of Wisconsin's Democratic primary.
"I am also a Democrat and have been a proud Democrat all my adult life," Clinton said. "And I think that is kind of important if we are selecting someone to be the Democratic nominee of the Democratic Party."

Was a life long democrat also. If you would like to contact him send a letter to

Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown where he is serving time for wire fraud and voter fraud.
On June 3, 2014, Cannon pleaded guilty to one count of honest services wire fraud, which carried a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
On March 16, 2016, he pleaded guilty to attempted voter fraud.

So being a life long Democrat...

Sanders was not a Democrat until he got into this race. It would be a lie to claim that he is a lifelong Democrat.

With that said, considering that Clinton wins self-identified Democrats in primaries, this is an expected talking point.
