A whole lot of people voted from both sides yesterday, it effected everyone.

I'd also be curious as to why more folks didn't vote early.

I don't think the public thought the lines were going to be that long (they weren't well informed) that the polling stations were reduced from 400 (2008) to 200 (2012) to 60 yesterday. For a county with 50% of the state's vote, you'd think 60 polling stations wouldn't be enough. VRA decimation and Republican voter suppression.

39. For many people voting on the day of election is special.

I used to love going to the polls and seeing some of my neighbors and marking a tangible paper ballot. I could feel good about myself for being involved. It's a very special high.

It saddened me when I had to begin voting absentee ballot because I was out-of-the-country so frequently. I adapted, but it still isn't the same as doing it in person on election day.

For both Democratic candidates.

The polling stations in Maricopa were reduced from 400 (2008) to 200 (2012) and 60 (2016). Maricopa is 50% of the democratic vote, this number of polling stations will not help in the GE.

It's a term used by Republicans to justify onerous and unnecessary ID checks to prevent voters from committing fraud, something that no investigation has actually found to be a problem.

Would be better to call for investigation of the systematic suppression of voters in AZ.

And, I'm googling to find a good petition calling on the DNC to act (or even better yet, the DNC AND RNC). This was a presidential preference election designed to appoint delegates to the respective conventions. The parties should be doing everything they can to ensure that every eligible voter can easily cast their ballot for their preferred nominee, and have that ballot accurately counted.
