Please let everyone vote first

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Agschmid (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

A post that I was responding to was just locked, I can only guess it was because the poster used profanity, so I have reposted the hart of their request below with the response that I had written;

"The. Primaries. Are. Not. Over. Over half the country still hasn't voted yet. Got that? Fucking California, or New York, or Oregon, or Washington and a whole lot of other people in a whole lot of other states HAVEN'T VOTED YET.

I am so sick of the loyalty oaths and now I read where a long-time DUer wants to start another purge, yes, I said PURGE, all those not swearing blind fealty to the Democratic Party. NOT ALL OF US HAVE VOTED YET!"

my response;
Your primary vote will count this time
Trust your hart do not let the BS get to you, Bernie is far from done.

But we should begin uniting around the eventual nominee, Hillary.

It is just reality.

I feel the 5 stages of grief are hitting some people. I'm feeling them knowing that Trump is their likely nominee. I think I'm in the anger stage over that one.

It isn't decided until the convention, until every vote has been cast. Stop trying to silence dissent or discussion of differences, because you have insecurities in your own candidate of choice.

half of the country including myself have not voted yet so the argument that Hillary is the eventual nominee is a total guess at this point. Sorry but I don't base my vote on looking into a magic 8 ball. If DU wants to start getting rid of posters because they refuse to support Hillary before the convention then DU will lose a lot of posters and money. Somehow I don't see that happening.

That's why the party has worked so tirelessly to put conservative states earlier in the primaries. Those evil liberal states would vote wrong.

Oh, and we're going to pretend you're an idiot and literally claiming your vote would be blocked. That way we can demean you without getting a hide.

Now shut up and line up behind the anointed one.

(And if you don't think this is sarcasm, you really need to get out more)

asked not to predict the outcome and look at the polls or talk about them.

The nominee will likely be decided before my primary, but I'm still going to vote in it. I consider that important. I would not be stopped by a line, the presence of Bill Clinton at the poll, the rain, DWS, or any other thing.

There have been times when the Presidential election is decided before the West Coast polls close. People should still go. The final count should be known.

Geez nobody in Hawaii or Alaska would ever bother to vote for President with that kind of thinking.
