Please don't repeat the Nader blaming if Clinton loses a close one.

(I was told this would be more appropriate to post here, rather than in GD.)

We're all familiar with the notion that Nader cost Gore the presidency because Nader pulled enough Democratic votes to cover the margin of victory in Florida. That's true, but about ten times as many registered Democrats voted for George Dubya as voted for Nader. There is a possibility this situation could come up again in 2016, so let's resolve right now to not blame Bernie Sanders if Clinton loses, and the margin is covered by the write-in votes for Bernie. This is ours to lose, no matter which candidate we choose. If we can't beat Trump or any of the rest of them, we all share the responsibility. I don't want to see a bunch of finger pointing, stomping sour grapes, or whatever cliche' seems to describe a bunch of angry Democrats trying to blame others for their loss. OK, yeah, I know some will do it anyway. Anything to avoid facing up to the truth. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

without acknowledging that some republicans votes for Gore, as if either mean anything since Gore clearly won and the Scalia-led Scotus stole it for Bush.

One thing I am thankful to Trump for is he single-handedly put the lie to "my brother kept us safe" repug talking point and toppled the Bush dynasty in one fell swoop.

...the days before the election, while Democrats across the party begged him not to, and Michael Moore chastised them. While Democrats literally promised to do vote exchanges from safe states to close states (secret agreement such as I'm in CA, I vote for Nader, you're in FL, you vote for Gore, etc).

I mean are you already conceding that it's going to be Clinton in the general and are trying to soften the effect of the hundreds of vows here from Sanders supporters who've gone on record in saying they won't vote for Hillary?

It's not even Super Tuesday yet, for God's sake.

you just going to sit back and let Trump run your life ? Im voting for the nominee. I believe it will be her. If its him, I will vote for the democrat. Im not letting the loons in the right wing run things, she may not be perfect but neither is Barack Obama, or Bill Clinton. We will never get the perfect candidate. Ever.

Just like Hillary can't be blamed for what some of her knucklehead supporters do on their own.
