Who else has super quiet right-wingers at the office and around town.

Yep, they are not talking politics anymore. Occasionally I'll bring up a minor goofy thing Romney might have done, and they'll chuckle along with me and that's about it.

It's practically over folks. Damaged goods, for some reason the campaign trail is too much for Romney, he's just becoming loopy, and no one could possibly defend him now. (Unless they're on the payroll.)

Started last Monday. First they were really cranky. Now, as you say, just verrry quiet.

It's kind of nice.

Last election cycle they couldn't shut up.

And, this is in the oilfield, probably one of the biggest strongholds for repugs on Earth.

I live in a more republican area.

Very few signs up yet, but there are probably a couple more of these ugly orange DEFEAT OBAMA signs than Romney signs, which pretty much sums it all up.

Facebook - I see some positive interest in Ryan, a smattering of the usual off the wall Obama hating stuff, no direct support of Romney.

I think I've seen one Repuke yard sign down the street a ways...my neighborhood has several Obama signs, and I've seen quite a few bumper stickers as well. I know we're gonna go totally red on election day, but it's nice to know there are progressives here still.

as the polls continue to show Mitt's slide. Not only are they not voting for him, they won't even be able to speak his name without shame. It's enough to make a good Democrat like me shout for joy! But in order to keep peace in my family, I must contain that joy. This is one of the few places I can come and throw confetti and shout WHO-RAY!

This whole thing is starting to get good. Pull up a chair and pop some corn. It's just going to get more and more interesting the closer we get to Nov. 6th.

Start the celebration! Vote EARLY!

The subdued nature of my conservative acquaintances, and the absence of Romney yard signs and bumper stickers, is genuinely striking.

and I saw my republican neighbor taking his Romney Ryan bumper sticker off his car. He nodded his head at me and rolled his eyes and told me that he could not believe what a" turd" Mitt turned out to be. He said that he thought that Mitt might be a pathological liar and possibly also a sociopath.

He told me that he was voting Obama.

I have been know to drop a few Wingnuts off my client list if they start to rant. I just don't put up with it. I look them right in the eye and tell them I'm booked for months and I won't be back. I always feel good when I lose one.

I have kept one Neo-Conish/Libertarian type who can't keep his mouth shut. I'm sort of toying with him but even he has been silent.

a picture of a dog with the caption "I don't always piss on political signs, but when I do they are Obama signs."

I knew this was meant as a parody of the Dos Equis commercials, so in true snark mode I responded, "Of course the dog pisses on Obama signs, there are no Romney signs to piss on, he has no choice"

He deleted the post after that.
