I had a horrible dream last night

I woke up the morning after the election after somehow passing out before all the returns were in. Romney ended up winning even after all polls showed Obama leading beyond the margin of error up until the election, as well as a huge exit polling advantage. Apart from the horror of seeing the Romney victory celebration and the freepers troll flooding DU, the news coverage was even worse. Instead of focusing on clear voting fraud, the only thing they discussed was "how could the polls be so wrong." The consensus was that all independents and many Democrats broke for Romney because they were tired of the slow economy. It was pure terror. Then I woke up and realized, this is Mitt Romney Obama is running against, and I smiled.

It was all about why the exit polling was wrong... which it had never been, ever.

Sounds like 2000, does Romney have a brother who is the governor of a swing state?

The real dream is for the Democrats to win so the lower and middle class have an opportunity to succeed. Republican policies help people who are already ahead to stay ahead. I came across this youtube music video the other day-- the song was inspired by the Obama and Clinton speeches at the Democratic convention. The lyrics are pretty cool.

I still remember how I felt around 2004.

I was stunned and numb for a good week. I really don't want to get reminded of that again.
