(16,254 posts)Maybe I'm dreaming it, but I thought I read where there would be 12-16M new jobs in the next couple years which had been projected through a survey of leading manufacturers/corporations.
I also remember reading that both parties felt safe in using these numbers for projecting their estimate of how many jobs they would add during their administration.
Now, I have been having some pretty strange dreams of late...probably because of the upcoming election...but I hope someone can tell me these numbers are true. If so, then that's the only promising thing he said. The rest was covering his posterior from that damaging video.

I'm nothing you've heard.
I'm you.
None of us are perfect,
But none of us can be happy with what we see around us.
Politicians who think raising taxes and implementing over-regulations and redistributing wealth are the ways to fix the economy.
I'll go to Washington and do what you'd do.
I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this message.
I'm you."

(3,888 posts)he has all the classic mannerisms of a pathological liar.
say yes and shake head no. avoid eye contact even with a video camera. tonal inflections that say he is not invested in what he says.
how did this man ever find any success? he has the personality that others want to see trip.
why hasn't anyone pulled the rug out from under him?

If only Shannon O'Brien had been able to do the same in 2002.

(228 posts)Smirks at the wrong times and as mentioned before shakes his head NO almost all the way through. He doesn't do that in other videos, especially when talking his version of the truth. Also, why doesn't he ever wear a tie? He is a businessman, or so he says. Dressing him down like an average Joe seems fake to me.
