(44,173 posts)He was given numerous opportunities to drop out in 2000 and endorse Al Gore. I waited every day during that campaign hoping that this would be the day Nader dropped out and endorsed Gore. I waited for this all the way until the night before the election...

(8,127 posts)alot of people on DU just a few years ago claimed he would be if he didnt stop the wars as promised...
continuing failed or criminal policies/act does make you a part of it.. according to law.
while i understand how unpopular it would have been for him to walk into office and put out warrants for Bush and Chaney.. he still shoulda.. he was following the letter of the law.
theres now doubt those two were war criminals..
and if you attempt to stand in the way of prosecution or fail to attempt to prosecute.. it does tend to make you a part of it.
i mean, if i knew someone was going to go out and murder someone.. and i did nothing and told no-one.. id probably get the same charge of murder.

(15,185 posts)because it violated Pakistan's sovereignty. Tough shit Ralph! Your spot in history is already made and people will always remember you for tossing the '00 election to Bush leading to the mess we're still cleaning up today/
Thanks for your two cents Ralph, but two cents nowadays doesn't buy people anything.

(8,127 posts)which is why its odd that every time Nader is brought up on this forum its to bash him.. not someone praising him..
they say he doesnt matter, yet feel the need to post everything he says and ridicule him..
not sure what the point of it is.

(20,219 posts)Is an idiot with a short memory.
How in the fucking world could you have jumped into TWO presidential races, knowing what you HAD to have known would be the likely outcome? I mean it, really---you knew well enough who the players were and that the lives of every person living in this country was at stake....so,
HOW could your (or anyone's) conscience LET you do such a thing?
Creep. And a creep who's fallen far. Man you really drove your life off a cliff, huh?

(51,907 posts)That would apply to every US president since the end of WW II, and many before that. Imperial bullying has been cheerfully bipartisan for most of our recent history, and changing presidents is highly unlikely to change that.
