Mark my words. The Republicans will come home to Akin.

The Senate is in the balance; all those Republicans who denounced his remarks will now fully support him. The Super Pacs will pour money into Missouri, and he will no longer be the black sheep of the party. Most of them agreed with his abortion views anyway, they just didn't want to support him publicly. They know the women vote is gone, so they will now double down on Akin. As I said, the Senate majority is too important for them to do otherwise.

Edit: grammar

Yes they will. Missouri is decidedly more conservative now than it was in 2008. Liberal_Stalwart71 Sep 2012 #12

It was all for show, to try and get the female vote. Since that's blown up in their face, they will double down trying to get more angry white guys to the polls.

And I have been so enjoying not seeing the ads about Obama/McCaskill's Job Killing Policies.

I hope that you're not right.

I wholly believe you are correct.

They have that twisted "death wish" thing going on...no matter how WRONG, they will not back down.

Dems need to hammer, hammer, hammer away at Mr. "Rape Apologist" Akin.
