How Big Does Pres Obama's Lead Need To Be Before The Claim That The Race Is "Dead Even" Goes Away?

10 points? 15? 20?

President Obama is clearly pulling away. Yet the RWNM and much of the MSM continues to characterize the race as "dead even."

You can be sure that if Rmoney gained a one-point lead in any national poll the talking heads would be reading the President's political obit.

BTW - please do our President the courtesy of referring to him as PRESIDENT Obama. It's the right thing to do...plus, it pisses off the Right!

Then, Republicans will start broadcasting how Obama stole the election because the polls show it was really close and theft is the only answer.

So much as one electoral point less than 2008 and they will scream about how he is a damaged president who has not mandate and will run the bus over Romney 1,000 times saying it was only because of a really bad candidate he was running against.

Or at least well outside the margin of error, which is what around 3-4 pts? So, they might start talking about President Obama winning at around 10 pts, but they will still say it's close. Until he hits that 15% mark, which I don't think will happen. So, it's going to be close according to MSM until November 6th.

And I agree with the "President Obama" request. He's already earned it ... legally ... once and that gives reference toward twice. They still refer to "Governor Palin" even in light of the fact whe was "Half Governor Palin" I'd prefer Mayor of Wasilla Palin...as I believe she stuck that term out.

So, yes, President Obama.
