Tampa Bay Buzz Blog: Marco Rubio stars in Medicare-based TV ad for Romney

No, Marco, Medicare is not going broke, neither is Social Security. Not having enough money to pay all claims is not 'going broke,' it is a short fall--a short fall that can be fixed. President Obama is already shoring up Medicare's financial footing through Obamacare. And the Obama administration, according to an article today in Politico, 'is declaring a small victory on Medicare: The private Medicare Advantage plans haven’t been hurt by “Obamacare” after all. In fact, they’re thriving, according to administration estimates released Wednesday.'

Marco Rubio stars in Medicare-based TV ad for Romney

Sen. Marco Rubio is all in now. He's got the star role in this new ad for Romney that focuses on Medicare. "Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan get it. Medicare is going broke," the Florida Republcian says.

Don't you love it how he says we 'owe it to our mothers' to screw over those under 55? flpoljunkie Sep 2012 #2

Republicans only like him because he's young, white Latino and doesn't hurt their eyes to look at him.

But there's not much to him IMO.

I don't think today's Medicare recipients want to see the Medicare guarantee be replaced by Vouchercare for those who follow them--their children and grandchildren.
