Bugei trading company is out of San Diego, California. They sell nihonto (Japanese swords) That are modern and can be used either for training or for "Tameshigiri ".



Should note to say Japan does not allow Japanese swords made by master sword makers out of the country, as they are considered works of art, and belong to the state. The exception to this rule, is that swords made by sword maker apprentices are allowed to be sold. Buegi, I believe also has several master apprentices it buys swords from, as well as from other sword makers, else where in the world. These are high quality pieces, and are real. They are NOT toys. Price range is fairly expensive.
