Being alone is something I have enjoyed for years

Social distancing is not a problem for me...I do like people but prefer my own company. Have never liked parties..big gatherings...noise..prefer to read..walk alone and basically hang with myself. I am in charge of my 8 year old grandson while is mom works long hours and school is closed for the rest if the year. We absolutely practice social distancing..wear our masks and gloves everywhere. For exercise we take his tortoise for walks away from people...my grandson rides his bike..does on line learning and basically we are fine. I am one of the "at risk" people so listening to doctors...scientists and those who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT keeps me relatively safe..the hand washing is a must!
Cant understand the idiots who listen to the bigger idiot and his gaggle of idiots...please get rid of him and all Republicans in November...we can do it!!!!vote blue!

And, as for the Republicans, I’m hoping November will be their Waterloo.

are we going to see our politicians insist on everyone wear a mask in public? Countries with the lowest infection rates per population require this. Want to get back to work and see all businesses open back up, then call/email all your politicians....city/state/national. Oh and start wearing one in public yourself, set the example for other people. At the grocery store when a masked and non-masked person are both within ear range, I state "Thank you for thinking of others" to the masked person. Majority of responses have been one of shame to yes I should do my part, one I get the least is up yours undoubtedly from repugs. And the masked one will always say something nice in return.

Solitude is my greatest gift to myself. But I can imagine this must be very difficult for the extroverts out there. Hang tough, this too shall pass.

I have been alone all my life and was at my most miserable when living with others. I absolutely despise it. Hoping the employer will allow working at home at least some of the time when "the new normal" kicks in. I'm much more comfortable using Zoom for meetings and Teams for communication than face to face meetings in conference rooms and running around trying to find people and setting up in-person meetings with them. What a PITA.

I've never minded being alone. People pretty much aggravate and exhaust and worry me. I like them -- at a DISTANCE.

Although I have never truly been just alone since I have a husband and pets. I love nature and going out for a walk and I bump into many of the same people on a regular basis and I love to chat with them. 10 minutes of pleasant conversation here and there and I am good to go. I don't even like to talk on the phone anymore and a nice Exchange in texts is perfect for me!
