I decided to make my Moms chicken soup today

I have a cold, feel a bit whiny and needed some self administered TLC.

Mom was a basic chicken soup maker when we were kids, water, S&P, chicken, onions, celery, carrots, boil , strain. Cook the noodles noodles in another pan.
Pull the meat off the bones to make chicken in white sauce over rice the next day.

It smells good in the kitchen at the minute. But I am adding more veggies.

I never tasted homemade soup until I was an adult and could make it myself.

Feel better soon, iris.
