2. I heard a speech about this at the book club.

I stopped going to the book club because I thought I was in church. The people talked about God a lot.

One woman said, "I told my niece that god gets mad when she texts OMG and for her to STOP doing that." No, I am not making this up. This is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. If I wasn't polite I would have asked her, "How do you know that?"
