Happy All Saints to those who celebrate it tomorrow.
In my church, All Saints is a week after Pentecost.
Hope you don't mind if I get lots of candy half off on Monday, though.

Wouldn't it be fun to see a name for each saint depicted?

in a long time - probably many years.
I sort of liked the recitation of the names of so many saints, either in Latin or English, followed by the sing-song "Ora pro nobis" or "Pray for us." Sancta Cecilia, ora pro nobis, etc.
I went to a Catholic college pre-Vatican II, where we were required to attend benediction every Tuesday afternoon, wearing cap & gown(!) - Yeah, I know most people can't even conceive of that today. I and a friend did skip it at times for a neighborhood bar, but I digress. Anyway, the Litany of the Saints was part of the service, at times.
Another age - a long time ago.
