(16,104 posts)If we concede voters who consider faith to be one of the most prominent aspects of their lives - if we don't speak to them - the 'religious right' will.
We have to be as tolerant and inclusive as we say we are. It's clear we need a Big Tent, and everyone counts!

(146,286 posts)Some Christians raise their right hands during prayers. But it's not a military-style salute. The arm isn't locked at the elbow as in the Nazi salute. Same arm; different position.
It's more like raising your right hand when taking an oath, really.
