I’m currently digging their new game Starfield - pretty massive “ Skyrim/Fallout in space.” No expanded content yet, and no mods on XBox, but the sheer scope is incredible.

Although I find TW: Medieval to be my go to in the series. Embarrassing number of hours played.

Came out in September, I’ve been playing since release. Have about 500 hours played, according to Steam. Playing the same character too.

Much of it would look familiar to a Skyrim player, even though it’s set in a future in which earth is uninhabitable but humanity has spread across dozens of star systems. There are literally a thousand planets. There are factions and side quests, you can be good or evil, you get a starship for free during the main quest line but there are multiple quests with a ship reward. You can also board enemy ships and take them. Of course you want to modify and improve whatever you acquire or buy.

Yes it’s Bethesda so there are numerous bugs, but it’s actually the least buggy of their more recent games, and they’ve actually fixed some of them.

There is so much to do. I’m level 140, my husband (who has some ridiculous number of hours played, such that I’m a slacker by comparison) is nearly 300.

I’m reluctant to go into too much detail about the story and main quest line because spoilers, but if you loved Skyrim and fallout 4 you should definitely give it a look-see.

I love it, and agree it's the least buggy Bethesda game I've run across. Currently around Level 71 after 3 months. I can't wait until modding gets opened up for XBox - there are a dozen little things I'd like to see changed that I'm sure the modders will address.

Legacy of the Dragonborn is the centerpiece. I believe it's available on Bethesda.net.

https://creations.bethesda.net/en/skyrim/details/12072/Legacy_of_the_Dragonborn (XBox port of the mod.)

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11802 (PC version on Nexus. Click this link for a thorough description of the mod.)

Agree on Legacy of the Dragonborn - completely changed the way I played Skyrim - and the Starfield devs obviously learned from it - you have a central clubhouse residence and a team who help you explore planets for artifacts.

Have not tried Starfield as of yet, partly because I've been waiting for over a decade for Star Citizen to be released.

And the quests very easy to break/screw up doing normal things. Tryex playing through and just gave up on it
