Anybody here sporting a PS Vita?

I was a liitle weary of buying one because of the limited game numbers and expensiveness, but luckily I was gifted one so that my time in chemo and After surgery would be better.

I love it. It's comfortable, and all the games I for it have so far been astounding. Uncharted, Raymon, Mutant Blobs, Mortal Komnat, motorstorm Rc Pro Am and so on. Netflix look nice on the great screen too. Cameras aren't the bets but meh.

Cant wait for some good shooters or even ports for the little bugger. Havent bought resistance yet because the bad reviews kind of turned me off.

Since I usually hate fighting games but I Love Mortal Kombat after not playing any fighting games in 10 years, I'm thinking of giving blaz blue or those other fighting games a chance.

Any vita fans? Favourite games?

Edit. Spelling changes. Writing on iPad and just had chemo today so feeling shiitty. Apologize if you can't folllow this post.

Haven't put any hardcore minutes on it yet since I've been playing Dissidia 1 and 2 on the older psp. I have Uncharted and The Show 12 that I haven't started playing yet. Still waiting for Gravity Rush before I put some serious time on the Vita. Just too many systems occupying my time.

find out it wasn't out yet.

If you get a chance, pick up Mutant Blobs attack. Worth every darn penny.

3. If I bought a Vita, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance would likely be one of the first games I purchased.

I have it for the PS3, and it is a really fun hack and slash RPG, similar to Champions of Norath and Baulder's Gate. There is only three classes, but there are tons of skills for each one, lots of different environments, tons of randomized loot, and you can respend your stat and skill points in town.

Here is a mixed review of the game for the Vita. The person making the review is just filming his screen, so it looks darker and blurrier than normal. He does mention that the price is much higher for the Vita than the PS3. I bought it when it first came out for $13, but the Vita version is $40. That is a pretty big difference.

If you like that style of game, it is pretty fun. It is a bargain $13, but $40 may be pushing it.

I own Uncharted (awesome), Mutant Blobs attack (AMAZING and highly recommended), Mortal Kombat (fantastic), Hot Shots Golf (meh), Motorstorm RC (fun and cheap), and Rayman (super fun port).

I've put a lot of hours into it, expecially into Mortal Kombat. So much to do.

I love the little system.

6. I did not realize the game was $40 for the Vita until I watched the review.

$13 on day one was a great price for it though. I don't think I would have spent $40 on it. In my opinion, $20 is more reasonable.

Trendy Entertainment's Dungeon Defenders made quite a splash when it released in October. The developer had hoped a handheld version would broaden the game's appeal when it showed a tech demo of the game off on the PS Vita earlier in 2011, but it appears the port is no longer going to happen.

In a post on its forums, Trendy Community Mananger Hitmonchan told the DD faithful: "While we believe the Vita is a very capable platform, we've decided to shelve the Vita port of the game. Many fans, including myself, would like to play Dungeon Defenders on the portable device, but ultimately, we've decided to divert those resources to other pursuits." He offered no details on what the new project might be, but promised details further down the road "would be worth the wait."

The game has been downloaded more than a million times since it released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

A shame, it is a very cool game.

I own both, and I think both are fun, but they are really different from each other.

9. I'm thinking that since they both have "Dungeon" in the title they are the same game...

I suppose I could be wrong but it is far more likely they are the same game

Spent a lot of time getting use to the battle system. Took a number of times to defeat the larger shadow creatures. Now I'm working on gravity control. Moving from one location to another without dropping the chair is pretty frustrating. I'd probably be a lot farther, but my Vita time is spent during commutes between home and work.
