1. As a former rabid Oakland Raiders fan back in the '70s, I can never bring myself to like anything about the Steelers

After that "Immaculate Reception" play that never should have happened, life has never been the same.

2. Well, as a Cowboys fan during the '70s, losing to the Steelers 2x in Super Bowls was at least as painful.

I switched allegiance to the Niners when the Raiders moved to Los Angeles, and I've hated the Cowboys ever since.
It's a great rivalry over the years, hating each other and each having an almost equal share of victories and defeats in the big games.
It's what being a sports fan is all about.

Along with Jimmy Johnson in a team photo of the 1964 Arkansas Razorback National Championship team.

I’m an obnoxious (is there any other kind?) Eagle Fan so I have no use for the “Cowgirls” as Bobby Hebert always calls them on his New Orleans Radio Show. The Saints get a lot of my love. I do miss Drew Brees.

Yeah, I'm a Stiller but I like the Iggles.

The same thing is wrong with the Stillers as with Penn State, on offense. Both teams rarely run mis-direction plays, not talking about double reverses, just play action or look left throw right. The film doesn't lie. The days of teams just ramming it down the other team's throat are gone. There are a few exceptions.

I think Iggles and Stillers made wise long term decisions, specially Pittsburgh.

Cuz Stephen Vogt is the new manager. Got good vibes for Bruce Bochy and Bob Melvin.

I just appreciate outstanding people.

Football-wise, Kyle Shanahan is 0 for 3 in super bowls. The esteemed Greg Papa is 0 for 2 as an announcer.

What does Mike have to say?

8. The Steelers have always been the enemy and that will never change!

They beat my mom's home town team, Dallas, and my dad's fave team - Miami, in the playoffs or SB so the die was cast and set in stone! They are the NFL enemy and GA is the college enemy. Unfortunately, GA has been dominant for the last few years and my FL Gators have sucked, so college football hasn't been much fun.

9. I was a Cowboys fan during the Landry days

Danny White, Bob Bruenig and others from ASU. Watched Staubach drop back many times in and out of the sunlight/shade of the old stadium.

Since the team was sold and Landry was gone, I got rabid against Jerry's Kids.

Similar to the 74 Dolphins toasting every season's failure to produce perfection, I have a six pack waiting every time Jerry's kids become ineligible for post season or get eliminated. Usually it just takes a couple of beers to fall asleep on my chair - but I look forward to it.
