Saturday night playoff game ONLY on Peacock!

How do/would you feel about being forced to stream Peacock in order to watch your team play in a playoff game? As a KC Chiefs fan I am not a happy camper. I won’t stream so will go to a bar probably.

I feel like their (NFL) damn revenue stream is big enough to not have to make the commoner or a small business “pay per view” !!

Why waste several hours watching a game, when i can get what matters in 10-15 minutes. Really.

Some feeds are better than others, and some of them are pure crap. A few are nothing but ads, and no game. You'll have to experiment to find the one that works best for you.

I've had good luck lately using WQStreams. It's a Canadian station, I believe. Interesting ads

When the Seattle game was only on some streaming service a few weeks ago, they have put it on broadcast TV for the home market.(I can't remember if it was Prime or Apple).

I don't like streaming sports, especially when there are multiple games going on.

NBC is running ads promoting the sign up during the Cleveland/Houston game. I hope they lose their britches on the decision to be greedy.

I love football. Played little league four years, then I did not grow. I remember showing up to the JV meeting, looked around at kids who were already growing into monsters and realized a skinny little guy like myself wouldn’t last long out there. I became a skier instead.
But I still enjoy watching the game. In fact, it’s the only spirt follow through the whole season. And I’m an ardent Who Dat. Should it become available only in a pay-per-view format anymore, then I’ll find something else to do.

29. I went to NFL.com and listened to it.

They had a streaming national radio feed from the Westwood One network (plus the feeds from both teams cities). Plenty of graphics and info to follow the game closely. Quite a lot of fun. Back in the day we used to listen to the MNF national radio feed while watching the game (on mute) due to wanting to avoid Howard and Dandy Don M. Jack Buck was the play by play guy. Try it if you haven't. Better experience.

31. It's not just NFL. We did subscribe last fall because and Iowa game (yeah I know) was only on Peacock.

It pissed me off, but they gotta get that money.

Obviously too late now, but I saw no one mention that is you have the NFL Gamepass, you could watch the game on the NFL app.

Gamepass (or whatever it may be called for next season) allows watching live games, has replays up pretty much immediately after the end of the game, condensed games (the plays only, none of the in between chatter) that take about 35-40 minutes each 4 hours after the end, and all-22 film a couple of days later. Plus all the games since about 2008 are there.

It's not cheap (~$100/year), but it's still way cheaper and more useful than the Sunday Ticket(~$300/season + YoutubeTV cost) and no other cable/streaming charges needed.

(I play in a lot of fantasy leagues, so I do it for the condensed games mostly. Although it's nice from time to time to view games from seasons there the Bears were at least above average...)
