Week 14 in the NFL was one heck of a week

Anyone else notice this?

Big games with big consequences (Eagles/Cowboys, Seahawks/49ers). Upsets (Texans/Jets, Lions/Bears, Bills/Chiefs, Patriots/Steelers), a tightening in the playoff race, and teams we thought were out of it (Broncos) find life. You'd have to add the Vikings/Raiders game in there too just for its oddity.

probably the rest of the season. Costing the Chiefs a game-winning touchdown is going to make him REALLY unpopular around here.

Seems like there were a few moments on the KC side where the players were venting their frustration. That was a real bonehead play by Toney, though. A line judge can see where the players are lining up....why would anyone line up in the nuetral zone at such a crucial moment?

I had no skin in the game, but KC seems like they are imploding with this losing streak.

And not by a little. There are at least 2 other Chiefs losses (Lions, Packers) where you can directly point to the lack of production from the Kansas City WR corps as contributing to those losses. The Toney offsides gaffe last night was the boiling point. No matter how they try to spin it or point to his lack of production when they played Miami, KC misses Tyreek Hill at WR in a big way.

The Chiefs are going to have to drastically upgrade their WR corps during the next offseason, as it is clearly that offense's Achilles heel.

An utt bugly game for sure for just 3 points. The Vikings had a bye week and what did they learn?

Hopefully the Chiefs can salvage their season and make the playoffs. The AFC is very tough this year as compared to the NFC overall.

dominate the Eagles like they did. They seem to be peaking at just the right time.
