He better seize the opportunity and get a win with the Saints in town next week.

Now, all indications are that Robert Saleh will be the next to get his ass handed to him as the Chief should steamroll the Jets tonight.

Super Bowl wins. Brady left, went to TB, won one Super Bowl and just missed a second one the twy directly leaving the Pats.

Belicheck hasn't gotten close to a divison championship since.

I think its a combination of the coaching and qb play. Good coaching is probably more important early in a QB's career.

Plus you gotta consider the assistant coaches that have gone on to head coaching or coordinator jobs. I imagine developing the coaching staff is part of the job, and turnover in those areas can also affect player development.

An example of an assistant coach who left the Pats...I give you Josh McDaniels. He got his first chance as a head coach from his resume of coaching Brady with the Pats and all their championships, with Denver.

He failed miserably there, but a couple of years later Marc Davis, owner of the Raiders foolishly hired him as head coach of the Raiders.

The Raiders were a playoff team in the previous ear (10-7) but his first season got off poorly. He scapegoated QB Derek Carr and bench him late in the season. Carr had gotten the team of to 10 point and more first half leads in 6 games only to have McDaniels' defense fail to stop the opposing team and the Raiders lost all of those games and finished at 6-11.

Now with this season they are off to a typical McDaniels record at 1-3 and things don't look good for the rest of the season.

I rest my case on Belichick and his asssistant coaches without Brady. Anybody can look good coaching Tom Brady.

They got 6 Super Bowl banners won in the last 22 years to keep them warm at night. Frankly, if they hadn't faced the Jets minus Aaron "Man Bun" Rodgers, there's a good chance the Patsies are sitting at 0-4 this morning. So much for Mac Jones being hailed as Brady 2.0.

I think Kraft gives Belicheat a pass until he's able to break Don Shula's career wins record; after that, he'll either be asked to step down or be fired.

Fun fact on Darth Belicheat, if you look at his career win-loss record excluding the Brady years, he's actually below .500 (you don't have to believe me, feel free to Google it yourself).
