Bird Academy and the Cornell Lab
Bird Academy provides online courses and access to live events from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Our mission is to serve birders, nature enthusiasts, and budding ornithologists by helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to feed their passion.
Founded in 1915, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology is a world leader in the study, appreciation, and conservation of birds. Soon after founding the Lab, Arthur Doc Allen opened its doors to the public on Monday evenings for seminars created to celebrate the science and beauty of birds.
Bird Academy continues this century-old tradition of sharing the wonder and joy of birds far beyond our walls by creating online courses, providing public access to Monday Night Seminars online, and offering course access to those who need financial assistance through our scholarship program. The Cornell Lab is a nonprofit organization supported by donations and membership.

I'm not an extremely avid birder, I just love watching them each day. They bring me peace. I enjoy the mourning dove's calls, the robin's early morning song, my chickadees fussing at me and an occasional owl's late night call.
As a retired tech person, I found the time domain readouts of each bird's call interesting although I remember the song IDs better from just repetitive listening and sightings.

i suck at this. i can mimic fine, but i cant seem to hold them in my memory.
however, i finally found a good treatment for my life long mild epilepsy, and so many had things are suddenly easier.
i've been enjoying stuff as "therapy". little eye hand stuff, like how my typing has changed, and i am patting myself for exercising the kinks out of that.
this would be a whole different neuro pathway. fun fun.
