Love both the women AND men's winnings at the US OPEN are

exactly the same!!!!!! Bout damn time, Venus Williams and Billy Jean King were both instrumental in making that happen.

The interest in men and women tennis has been at parity for quite some time.

As many people watched an Evert/King match as a Smith/Nastase match, even back in the 70's.

And probably more people watch Serena than Fed or Nadal.

Same thing with big time US soccer. As many people watch the women (ratings demonstrated that during the WC and championships), but they get paid way less. And, they're a better team, to boot.
