Chipper and the Braves whine about Melky..
Melky Cabrera has a thriving, costumed fan base at AT&T Park. But they arent so fond of him at Turner Field.
Thats Melky, and thats why hes not here anymore, said Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, asked about Cabreras body language at several junctures in the Giants 9-4, 11-inning victory Wednesday night. He got a little happy when I think (Gregor) Blanco hit the home run. That wont be forgotten.
Cabrera, who had been intentionally walked in the 11th inning, appeared to make a motion with his hands near his groin region after Blancos three-run homer broke the game open. (It's a pelvis-thrusting celebratory move that Cabrera and Blanco have done on many occasions earlier in the year.)
Earlier in the game and the series, Cabrera taunted fans in the left field seats when he pretended to throw baseballs to them. He also made a hand gesture in the sixth inning when Jason Heyward didnt try to tag from second base on a fly ball to deep left field.

Looks like the good feelings Chipper brought to the NL All Star team are over..He can be excused though... for last night's game didn't end until well after midnight EST, so the elderly Brave must have been feeling a bit grumpy since it was past his bedtime..
There must have really been some real bad feelings left over from Melky's stint with the Braves, because I've never seen this side of him. He's always comes across as somewhat meek and shy, never arrogant. He must have taken some real abuse there, I understand he was booed regularly, because he was a model citizen and team player in NY and same thing so far in SF.
