1. Interesting ...

2. I got philosophical

I am trying a tad of fantastic realism. And it started to get out of control. I kept going and then I went... nope, this is not good. So hacked and slashed and ended up with a short story.

3. I always call those my first chapter ...

sometimes I like to start my writings out with word definitions ...

4. Believe it or not, I am way out of practice

Writing news stories is very different than fiction.

I am proof positive the out of practice shows.



Though got an upgrade to Save the Cat, will try that for a longer piece.

I decided that I have to start doing the Hemingway program. He wrote non fiction during the day, and fiction in the evening. No, I am not even to his little toe.

5. I can definitely see the advantages of the Hemingway program ...

because our daily reality can be cannon fodder for our evening fantasies ....

6. Yeah, and he did that in his early years

as he worked as a reporter.

Later in life he had the leisure to go both nuts and write fiction, I will pass on the latter part of the program. I suspect these days he would have been diagnosed with PTSD.

7. Been revising this, right now mostly for grammar and all that

I absolutely love Track Changes.

I might post an edited version, I'm not sure.

What I might do though is do a couple paragraphs with corrections,
