No one in this group needs further explanation nor the need to watch the following videos, save for the fact of whitewashing the past and our present for the sake of white innocence that renders the basic questioning of white privilege and systemic racism unworthy of reflection.

1. thank you for posting this... it was not easy to watch that 1st video...

even though i have probably seen all those old clips and lived, well,.. i was going to say lived 'through it,' but being white i didn't really live 'through it,' now did i...

but , i think you understand.

I am still learning....... at 75.

jeeze, i lived in Memphis from 1967-1970 and played a jazz gig downtown the night before Dr. King was killed... it was horrifying.....

I wish I knew the answer....
