Wanna talk about your grandkids?

Grandson is 21 and a senior at William and Mary. Right now he thinks he'd like to go back to France and teach English for a bit. He's an English major. He spent some time there as a junior and also later with his family. He's a Francophile.

Granddaughter is 16 and a sophomore in high school. We thought grandson was 'the smart one', but she may eclipse him.
She's a dedicated dancer and on the 'dance team'. (I'm not exactly sure just what that is, but I think it's good.)

Also a cheerleader. Just started driving and we're all holding our breath. She's in a Boston suburb and driving can be brutal there. Almost a contact s[port.

That's it for me.
And yes, I'm bragging.
You?

Is setting her sights on Italy in Fall/2024 to work on her Masters in Museum Studies.

She came home from college with a cat she named Mildew. So, my only grandchild is a nasty- tempered cat named Mildew. 😳 My cats stay clear of her….she is THAT mean.

She can count to 10, say her ABC's, knows some sign language, and is very vocal. I understand 1/2 of what she says.

But if these stories get any cuter I will be forced to comment on all the posts! Love children, babies and grands posts.

Thanks for the smiles.

12 years ago. While I do not wish too-early parenthood on any of them, I wouldn't mind seeing their children one day.

My 11 grandchildren lead pretty ordinary lives; some are still teenagers. They're all interesting in their own way, but I wish somebody had inherited my love for music and singing.

#5 and probably last. Daughters kids are Makayla, 13 (high school next year!), Weston, 9 and Addie, 5. They’re done having kids. My son and his wife have Owen, 16 months, and they’re having #2 next June! DIL said she wanted 2 kids close in age like she and her sister are. DH and I are thrilled.
