An attorney friend in California posted this California Statutory Will, and I thought I'd share.

PSA: I just visited a man who is dying and has no Will. Unfortunately, he's too far gone at this point (or was when I visited). There are very simple steps you can take to get the most basic documents in place. If you are not married or registered domestic partners with your significant other, this is really, really important. Here is a Will you can print and complete on your own, you just need two witnesses to watch you sign. They can't be the people you are naming in your Will.

And no children, and I'll not share online all the details about family and girlfriend.

Suffice to say that what little I have, I've earned.

After this recent set of surgeries, I'm inclined to leave all to a civic organization that I won't name here.

If you have a moment, please PM me. I might have 10 or 30 years to go, honestly I don't know that I'll last as long as my parents an I think I'll have a better life if I resolve my estate in advance.
