Cool Boomer Books

I'm currently reading "The Me Generation" by Ken Levine. If you were a teen in the 60s/early 70s, it's a must read and way funny. Since I grew up in SoCal I could really relate as he was from "The Valley" - if you were a boy, you'll REALLY enjoy it. He refers to a fun site http://www.mrpophistory.com that he used for some of research.

Any other suggestions for books about the era? It seems to be the only way I can get my husband to turn off the damn TV lately!

I searched for it and discovered it comes in a Kindle edition...added to my Wish List

Will purchase and read when I finish with the Bruce Trilogy (Robert I of Scotland). Which was way before any of us Boomers were born.

bought the book you suggested.

Oh, so many great memories, even though I grew up on the other side of the country from the author.

Still, it was the times and the music and everything else.

Oh, and he's quite funny, as well
