X-post from LBN: Shooting Reported During ‘Trainwreck’ Screening in Louisiana

Two people are reportedly dead and at least six people have been injured after a shooting occurred inside a screening of “Trainwreck” in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The Daily Advertiser reports that the gunman was among the dead.

“We heard a loud pop we thought was a firecracker,” one witness told the newspaper.

The incident occurred at the Grand Theater.

According to reports, the man–described as an “older white male”– stood up about 20 mins into the screening and started firing at the audience. He later shot and killed himself.

It's also a great reason to practice beyond the 7-10 yard range and really consider 20-25yd practice as necessary.

is worthy of note. The day's mass murder less so. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10141154568

I care about all victims of violence. Hoping the injured are not seriously wounded.

how the reaction changes depending on the method of homicide.

Hell the parking lot the dumbass put a bullet in received more attention than the murdered family.

Move along, nothing to see. Just another good guy with a gun and your friendly neighborhood Second Amendment in action.
