As much as Trotsky looks like the Colonel, I've always thought that this guy, Mikhail Kalinin, looked even more like him!

Also, until a few months ago, Russia had its own KFC knockoff called Rostik's. This was the mascot:

I think I ate there once. Don't remember if it was good or not. Apparently they were finally bought out by Yum Brands this year and will now rebrand as KFC.
