An Akron man who turned a love of languages and a thirst for knowledge into a YouTube sensation has died.

He could speak over 50 languages, but his videos touched thousands of people who are now mourning him.

“He was an outstanding person who crammed so much into his short, tragically short, period on this earth,” language teacher and YouTuber Steve Kaufmann said in a video tribute.

Moses McCormick, 39, died of heart complications in Phoenix, Arizona. The North High graduate and self-described polyglot built an audience of over 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Laoshu505000.
