& my husband pointed out that SS was a socialist program & if it were up to the capitalists, "you'd be living on the streets." BIL was quiet & then said, "Well, I wish it was more!"

Have never understood that. These people are absolutely depending on getting social security and Medicare, yet they vote for the people that want to take it away from them.
