This morning Carys came running when I sang her song

And running TOWARDS me, not away. Just thought I'd make that clear. Of course, she may have mistaken the song for a call to breakfast. Still, it made me happy.

BTW, all four of the kitcats have their own song. Well, one melody for the older and another for the younger. Just a change of name in the lyrics.

She really is growing into her surroundings.

I have different "songs" and sayings and a whistle for outdoors that all my purry friends get to know. One for during the day and seems to work as a game for them is to start asking where the cat is while they are hiding on purpose, they always come out to say "I'm right here!"

Still another five weeks until Mikey comes for a week or two while his other mom goes for surgery.
