Carys is out of surgery. A totally ROUTINE surgery!

She's still a little groggy but they said she's doing just fine. I'm to call at 9, tomorrow, just to make sure she's ready to be released.

So, I'm going to take a hot shower, pour myself a glass of wine and go back to snuggling with the boys.

...and didn't make it. Anesthesia doesn't always work as intended so it's always nerve-wracking waiting to hear if your baby made it through!

I don't remember signing something like that for any other neutering or spaying but maybe I just pushed it out of my head.

So sorry that your baby didn't make it. It is always a risk. Until I'm holding and scritching her, I'll continue to worry. A bit.

9 am tomorrow can't come fast enough.

On boys, the parts that need to be removed are much more accessible, which makes the procedure much less invasive.

So happy to hear the little sweetie came through just fine! I'm sure her brothers will be glad to see her tomorrow, even with that weird vet's office smell on her.

It is so hard to take them in then wait, wait, wait. Each 30 seconds seems like a whole day!

Great news. When you pick her up you will be the hero, all the bad stuff happened there at the Vets!

I have thought about this all morning, so glad the hardest part is over.

I have several favorites from my years in N CA, like Kendall-Jackson vintner's reserve chardonnay, 7 Deadly Zins zinfandel, & Menage a Trois zinfandel.

And a bunch of others!
