Arthur is trying to make up for resting his butt on my head, last night

This morning I decided to 'sleep in'. OK, i was awake but I let 6am slip by without getting up to feed the boys. Then 6:15. I was just too warm and comfortable beneath that feather comforter.

Madoc took offense at this breach of the feeding time schedule and proceeded to attack my feet. Arthur? He FLEW across the bed and wrestled his big brother into (eventual) submission. Twice. Gryff just sat on the side line and observed.

Thus went my first morning of attempting to adjust their feeding schedule to allow me to S-L-O-W-L-Y begin my day instead of waking up and immediately jumping out of bed to feed the boys. The feral's feeding time has already moved because it's just too dark, until after 7, to navigate their tails and the food bowls.

When questionable people show up at the door! He might scare them away! I had a cat tht would do that. I would hold her while I opened the door and if they weren't somebody we already knew and they were sketchy, she'd hiss at them and snarl, act like she'd rip their eyes out if I let her go. They'd leave rather quickly. It was back in the 70s, answering the door was very different back then.

answering her door. The guy grabbed her, but her cat launched herself at the guy's face and throat, clawed him deeply. He managed to get away, but was bleeding rather profusely. I don't remember his outcome, but the woman never answered the door after that without her cat.
