Our Foggy LOVES my red hair. He likes to lay on the top of the couch or chairs where I sit and lie on my hair. Sometimes he puts his whole weight on my surgically repaired neck and it doesn't feel good. He's a big muscular guy - 12 lbs. I have to keep the bedroom door shut at night or he'd lay on my pillow and tangle his claws in my hair and occasionally pull it and try to eat it or play with it.

5. One night

My cat did something I’d said not to do. Can’t recall what; it’s been a few years.

It was completely dark in the bedroom but I picked her up and held her in front of my face and gave her a lecture. “No! No!” That’s about as deep as you can get with cat lectures.

Then I felt a swish of her tail across my face and I realized I was talking to a cat butt.

Might as well for all the good it would do.

Anyway, cats care nothing for one’s personal dignity. But don’t you dare insult theirs. They are all about their own personal dignity.
