We have three cats. The big male, Deuce, is an orange-and-vanilla version of your Arthur. I could study those patterns for hours. They remind me of waves in conflicting directions.

The ex-wife made me get rid of him because he was clumsy and broke stuff. I should have kept him and gotten rid of her.

Catlet, because he's still a kitten, just bigger.

I can't believe it, it's overcast and only +57F! Breezy and supposed to rain at some point. I slept in with the windows open, it was so nice to not have to get up and water my flowers before 6am, not that I'm not up at that hour, it's just that it's so hot that I have to water everything several times a day. Good thing it's just a single row that goes around two sides of my tiny house!

I was up at 3 to open all of the windows. It's only 10 and already 82 with a 90 degree heat index

Just 2 more days of this and then the temps go down to the low 80's/high 70's during the day and 50's/60's at night. Off and on rain through Tuesday which is why I want to mow, now. I haven't had to mow the house lawn in weeks but that big storm woke it up.

Your area is on a two day delay in having similar weather to ours. More often than not, when you describe what's in store, it's the same conditions we either were having or just had. Even when our weather is form different sources, you get weather from the gulf sometimes, we rarely, if ever, do.

I find that interesting. We had a good rain last night too. My hiking buddy and I were going to go out on a trek today but he left the windows open in one of his vehicles and it got really wet. It's an antique, he stepped out for a beer only to have the cloudburst happen while he was out so that will take precedent over the outing today. We decided we could handle an earlier venture tomorrow and come back before it gets too hot. After mid-day tomorrow, we'll be back in the heat dome.
