The boys are resting up for their big transition to being CATS, not kittens, but CATS, on Friday

They will be 1 year old. The interesting thing is, I found Madoc and his siblings on August 8, last year, and the vet said they were 4 weeks old. So, we assigned July 8 as their birthday. When I received Gryff from the very generous vet, the paperwork stated his birthday was July 8. Now, what are the odds of that?

Anyway, I snapped this pic in case they don't cooperate on Friday.

The odds of me getting them to pose wearing party hats, well, I've got a better chance of convincing George Clooney to leave his wife, kids and Italy and move to my house in Michigan. But that's not to say I won't try. The party hat pic, that is.

7. I thought that Gryph was a little older than Madoc, by a few weeks.

I couldn't get an exact birth date for Ember from the woman who had Ember's mother. All she said was that Ember was around 9 weeks old.

That was in December, about a week and a half before Christmas. So I figured that Ember was born in mid October. My birthday is in mid October, so Ember and I celebrate together. (Neither one of us wears a hat.)

8. Gryff was bigger but Madoc caught up

I honestly can't believe how big he's gotten, considering with a tiny little guy he was when I first brought him in.

Not knowing the exact date of Luna's birth... but knowing the "thereabouts"... I've assigned him as a "May Day" kitten. And he does possess a true Taurus personality! Just push on thru, head first, like a bull in a china shop! (LOL)

Your guys are so beautiful at a year old. I hope Luna turns out to be half as gorgeous as they've turned out. You're so very, very lucky!!!

12. Little Arthur is going to be so much fun to watch grow

I think he will be slightly longer haired than his big brothers. Fortunately, he doesn't mind me brushing him.
